For those who wish to be immersed in the fascinating ancient history of ancient Egypt, this 15 night fully escorted cruise will allow you to experience the hustle and bustle of Cairo, Africa’s most populated city and the serenity of Nile, where the story of the pharaohs, and the magnificent monuments that they have built will unfold before your eyes. 

The Great Pyramids of Giza and the magnificent Egyptian museum will whet your appetite for your adventure ahead as you sail the Nile uncovering tombs and pyramids, and see rural Egypt where life has not really changed for hundreds of years from the comfort of your cruise boat. 

Each day another fascinating chapter is explored, from the 39 tombs of the Middle Kingdom in Beni Suef, and Abydos the oldest city in ancient Egypt, to the magnificent Valley of the Kings, the final resting place of some of the greatest pharaohs and their elaborately decorated tombs. 

Luxor and Aswan offer some great opportunities to get close up to over 5,000 years of history with spectacular temples like Karnak, with its maze of columns and chambers, which will be explained in detail by your English speaking guide who will be with you throughout your adventure.

Day1
Depart London Heathrow to Cairo on board Egypt Air flight. Upon arrival you will be greeted by our local representative and transfer to the cruise dock for overnight.
 
Day2
After early breakfast, you will be escorted by your English speaking guide on a full day tour visit the Egyptian Museum the home of extensive Egyptian antiquities. Commence to the province of Giza exploring Egypt's most fascinating landmark ''The Great Pyramids of Giza'' followed by the Sphinx. Return on board for a cocktail party. Dinner on board followed by Oriental Music show. Overnight in Cairo.
 
Day3
Breakfast on board. Enjoy a full day sailing to Beni Suef (approx. 12 hours) through Egypt's rural scenery. All meals are on board. Overnight in Beni Suef.
 
Day4
After early breakfast, you will be driven for one hour to Maydom Pyramid in Fayoum followed by a visit to the Hawara Pyramid. Return on board for lunch. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner & overnight in Beni Suef.
 
Day5
Early sail to Minya (9 hours). After breakfast, you will enjoy a free morning. Enjoy lunch on board before arriving into Minya to visit Tuna El Gebel ''the necropolis of Khmun'' followed by a visit to Ashmunein. Return on board for dinner followed by an exciting game night of Treasure Hunt. Overnight in Minya.
 
Day6
Early breakfast, transfer to Tel El Amarna to visit the northern tombs of Toms of Ahmose, Tomb of Meryre, Tomb of Pentu, Tomb of Panehesy & the Royal Tomb of Akhenaten. Followed by a visit to the Great Palace of King Akhenaten, the small & great temples of Aten. Return on board of lunch. Transfer from the boat to Beni Hassan to visit the Tomb of Baqet III, Tomb of Khety, Tomb of Amenemhet and the tomb of Khnumhotep II.
Return on board for dinner & folklorc show. Overnight in Minya.
 
Day7
Breakfast on board. Enjoy a full day sailing to Assuit (approx. 12 hours) through Egypt's rural scenery. All meals are on board. Overnight in Assuit.
 
Day8
Early sail to Sohag. After breakfast, you will have a free morning. Enjoy lunch on board followed by a visit to the oldest city of Ancient Egypt ''Abydos'' the home of Seti I temple. Return back on board for dinner followed by Black & White Party. Overnight in Sohag.
 
Day9
Breakfast on board. Enjoy a full day sailing to Qena passing through two locks & the railway bridge in Naga Hammadi. Lunch & dinner on board. Overnight in Qena
 
Day10
After early breakfast, your Egyptologist will guide you through Dendara Temple which is one of the best preserved temple complexes in Egypt. Return on board for lunch while sailing to Luxor. Rest of day at leisure if you wish to choose one of the optional tours in Luxor. Dinner on board followed by a belly dancer show. Overnight in Luxor.
 
Day11
After early breakfast, visit the West bank of Luxor to to explore the Valley of the Kings, a vast City of the Dead where magnificent tombs were carved into the desert rocks, decorated richly, and filled with treasures for the afterlife by generations of Pharaohs, followed by a visit to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (Ancient Egypt's only female Pharaoh). Return on board for lunch. Remaining day at leisure. Dinner & overnight in Luxor.
 
Day12
After breakfast, you will visit Karnak Temple, built over more than a thousand years by generations of Pharaohs followed by a visit to Luxor temple. Lunch on board & enjoy a free day to choose one of our optional tours in Luxor. Dinner followed by a Galabya party while sailing to Edfu.
 
Day13
After early breakfast, visit the best preserved temple on the ancient world dedicated to Horus the falcon god. Commence sailing to Komombo. Lunch on board before visiting Komombo Temple, the Ptolemaic temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon-headed Horus, god of the morning sun. Enjoy dinner while sailing to Aswan.
 
Day14
After early breakfast, visit the High Dam followed by Philae Temple. Return on board for lunch. Visit the Nubian Museum. Dinner followed by a Nubian show on board. Overnight in Aswan
 
Day15
Breakfast on board. Disembark after lunch and transferred to Aswan Airport for your flight to Cairo international Airport to connect with Egypt Air flight to London Heathrow airport.
