Dana Guest House is hugely different from the larger hotels of Amman and Petra where most of Jordan's tourists head. Dana offers an element of solitude and a homely atmosphere with wholesome local cuisine and personal service.

Close by is the small village of Dana, which is worth a wander around, and next door to the Guest House is a small handicrafts workshop and nature reserve museum.
It goes without saying the guest's income helps to fund the conservation efforts established in Dana Nature Reserve. Wildlife on offer nearby are the Griffon vulture, Bonelli`s eagle, Sinai rosefinch, Tristram`s grackle and the fan-tailed Raven.
